Of course it has to be Tank. He died to save Neo, while Link is the operator of the ship only to respect his brother's wish. He doesn't even trust Morpheus...

Did you notice that Link all over the movie doesn't know what is happening?

All the time he is wondering where Neo or someone else is.

I loved Tank and his coolness.

I read somewhere that the actor who played Tank was axed by the producers since he wanted an large payrise. Started threatening and harrassing the directors and producers, and is now suing them for dropping him from films 2 and 3

Tank was definately very cool. When he first met Neo he was like a kid with ADD, he was awesome! and you definately felt you could relate to him more for some reason... better acting i guess.

I kept wondering about it, because I didn't remember him dying....

nope...but the actor who played tank was (for what reason ever) not engaged for M2 and M3...

there are different rumours about the reasons...

Tank was so much cooler than Link.

I voted for link, but I think that, actually, that Tank is better. He was just more friendly. The actor thing ticks me off though.

Tank was supposed to be in the sequels since he did survive the attack by Cypher.

Unfortunately, the actor and the studios had "disagreements," and therefore the writers needed to establish a reason for the absence of Tank. Just as the deaths of both Gloria Foster (The Oracle) and Aaliyah (Zee/Niobe) required adjustments to the screenplays and plotlines, so did the departure of the actor who played Tank.

I love his egocentric neurotic persona. I would have voted at Sparks, if it was an option. But it isn't such option so I'm gonna throw my vote on Tank.

In fact I was trying tu untherstand where, when or how Tank "died"...

This doesn't happen, it said so in reloaded by Zee but it isn't.

There both good, but its to say what it would've been like if Tanks actor wasn't crazy and actually did it, but its good they used family of his ( not the actors) to keep the story straight forward.

we never saw it happen, but zee says that she lost 2 brothers to the Neb - tank and dozer. i didnt know about the actual dispute between tank(dont know his name) and the studios. yet that was his death

i voted for link but before you all kill me and cannablaize my corpse, hear me. link was more entertaning, because he doubted morpheus. i sort of enjoyed hearing the other prespective sence everyone else on the ship belives in morpheus. also by revouloutions, he belives (or was it reloaded?) now you may procede to killing me nd eating my corpse.
