I have a Qn: ppl who r jacked in to the matrix still unplugged-- are their existence in the matrix in the form of programs?
if not, then how are they different from those who really are programs? like say, Sathi's papa. he is a program. those suave ppl on the streets are not, in my opinion. do prog have a body in the real world? i dun think so.
my Qn here is: if they are not prog, can Smith overwrite them? if he had overwritten them all, then the liquified bodies in the batt farms would have all died, thus the machines will fall since the matrix is down. but the machines are still attacking Zion meanwhile.

another Qn: oracle said to Trin Neo was trapped in a world betw "your world and the machine world" . this Your World, isit Zion? if yes, then where;s the station? if its in the real world and the trainman smuggles prog out of the matrix? then where do they go in the real world?

The mobile ave station is a Limbo world.
Limbo = the state of being disregarded or forgotten or an imaginary place for lost or neglected things

Religious meaning:
The catholics believe a Limbo stage is between Heaven and Hell. You are awaiting Judgement when in a limbo state.

The Trainman works for Merv (frenchman) in this limbo world. He operates a train that smuggle information in and out of the Matrix.

Merv is a trafficker of information. Merv is an exile that has no purpose. Merv is the underground boss who is obviously very powerful to lure/recruit/capture program like the albino twins, key maker.. trainman and other thugs . etc to work for him.

When a program is deemed unuseful or have no purpose they must be delete , but these programs also has survival instinct and some will chose to hide as exiles in the Matrix rather than be deleted. So these program will come to Merv and make a deal with him to smuggle them in and out of the Matrix. Want to make a deal? then give me your soul .. muahahaha

Zion= The last human city: Zion is real!

There are 3 classes of humans.
1. Orginal homegrown, unaltered human from Zion.
2. Farmed humans grown by Machines to be used as batteries (power)
3. Former farmed humans that were rescued and now lives in Zion, like the case of Neo.

Human from Zion world whom are plugged in to the Matrix by choice, returns to Zion world when unplugged. Humans that are grown on farms by machine to be used as battery (power source) for machine never wakes up, unless they are rescue by Morpheous' rebel. Those farm humans returns to the Machine city in their pods. Programs from the Matrix when are no longer useful gets deleted and returns to the source (mainframe).

I believe some of the farm humans plugged in can be coded by machine as programs. In Neo's case, the machine used him (farm grown human )as "The One" program. But not all farmed humans that are still pluggin are programs. The matrix was design to fool/trick those farm humans that they are living a normal life in the Matrix world.

Think about it, if you were a farmed human in a cocoon, and day after day, being in a dark cocoon , you would go nuts if you had nothing to do. So you have no will to live because you have nothing to live for , hence you will die faster. The Matrix was designed to trick those farm humans to thinking that they have normal life .. etc.. so they can continue to live. The longer those farm human lives, the less often the machine has to replace them.

To answer your other question. All programs has codes. If it is not a program, then it can not be overwritten because it has no codes.
