Opening Scene: The Birth of Neo

A teenaged Morpheus stands at the edge of the valley where the humans are kept in their pods. He witnesses the Machines create The One. By his side is the Oracle’s program encased in a machine body, it turns to face him and says in it’s dark machine voice, “The world’s fate depends solely on that one child”.

Or something like that.

Morpheus couldn't be out there. He would be killed by the machienes.

Have him be a one who chose to not accept the fate of the ont and is there to help Neo along HIS path. (wish of the oracle)

Morpheus was out there, he said so himself in M1.
