you must be crazy .... do you know that you can do anithing to a foto? maybe you dont... fots can be edited and believe it or not, dates on a piece of paper can be edited too... so sophia CAN edit the date and say she had written the story looong before the brotheres wrote it...

I wonder anyway why this story has gotten only so little media attention.

If you read the final shooting script of The Matrix, "Whoa" is not even in it.

This whole speculative mess revolving around 'Third Eye' and the Bros. Wachowski is nauseating.
The Matrix series, movies, comix, animation, etc., etc., have influences all over the place. If you read William Gibson's literary classic 'Neuromancer' from the early 1980's, you would find dozens of similarities. Do you see Mr. Gibson with his hand out claiming plageurism?
The movie 'Dark City' circa 1998 is very similar in plot and content and overall philosophy of the 'Matrix' released in 1999. I don't see New Line Cinema beating down the doors at Warner Brothers screaming for a slice of the action.
These are just two, just TWO of the many many examples of similar work that could be interpreted as source material for the phenomenon that has become 'The Matrix'.

Personally, I don't give a damn where the Wachowski brothers got their inspiration. I am appreciative of the net result of THEIR efforts, and give credit entirely to THEM for the products THEY have created.

Would it actually matter if she did write it first? Would it make The Matrix any less of a fantastic film? I for one dont really care and belive that the two brothers put a hell of alot of effprt into these films and she is probaly just trying to make money out of their success.
If she really did write the matrix then how did the brothers come about stealing it? Why would she just so willingly give away such a amazing story?

I'll tell you why. The reason why is because she is only using this as a method to make money and she had no reason to think she could make money out of a scandal like this when the matrix came out and did reasonably well at cinemas while austin powers 2 and star wars made even more money. It wasn't until the matrix came out on DVD that it started to be recognised as a cult hit and started really raking in the cash.

Sophia Stewart obviously found out that some old friends of hers were doing really well and at that point decided to find a way to sue them out of jealousy. The way rich people sue each other in America is disgusting.

She did, it's not a movie you can post your theories about, in this world facts reign. Get them straight.

This all sounds like a load of crap. I think that perhaps the brothers or WB should sue just for damages caused. There is no way in hell that this could have happened, and they wouldn't have been stupid enough to let it leek if it did - they would have just bribed the hell out of Sophia to keep her quiet. With the amount the trilogy grossed, what is a few million here or there to keep the magic alive. I think there are too many people with nothing better to do with their spare time that think up of these wack conspiracy theories, founded with no legitimate evidence. And 10 points to the creator of that photo. Can somebody tell me where I can submit mine?

i think its another example of the "me me me" greed and compensation culture that has grown out of control

maybe she did think up a tv series called the matrix and as such has used this as a way to try to get money from someone who has been succesful

its as bad as the "you killed my dog...so im gonna sue you" attitude that the courts in america(and now increasingly in britain) love...

Exactly. She's just one of these Americans who likes to sue everybody. She claimed in the interview with her that she sent the Wachowskis her script and all the ideas for merchandising. Why the hell would she do something like that? It sounds like a pile of crepe to me! (a pile of pancakes - yep you read correctly!)

regardless of the pancakes, the reason that i think this story has no media attention is that it makes no sense, and its totaly stupid.

If you are unaware, WB/TW is one of the hugest companie's in the media. They own an incredibly large amount of the TV Stations and radio stations. Why would they tell everybody that they stole the script? It's not a big story because WB/TW keeps it that way. Personally, I heard about this lawsuit about 4 years ago! I live in the same neiborhood as Sophia and went to school with her son. He was telling about this whole shinanagin back then... I support her and think she should hit them for whatever she can. She Wrote it so she should get SOMETHING!

So every news channel ignored the story because of some global conspiracy? I think not. The reason no one has heard about it is because it a pile of steaming BS. I'm sorry if you trust her, but she is blatantly out for what she can get. If she is so honest and fair then why is she after money from the last two films when the only script that has been stolen was the one for the first movie? Also how can they have stolen her script when hers is called "the third eye" and theirs is called "the matrix" - did they simply put a new title on it or are there more differences than that? From what I have heard there isn't much similarity between the scripts at all.

THERE ISNT EXCEPT THE WORD ONE AND AN END OF THE WORLD TYPE SITUATION THERES MORE IN THE BOOK OF REVALATIONS IN HER STORY SO SHE SHOULD GET SUED BY PUBLISHERS OF THE BIBLE DAMNIT!

Unless you know something I don't Agent Zero, I think the only script you have seen:
(i) wasn't a script - it was more like a story book
(ii) came from a rather dodgy looking site and
(iii) Had the name Zenia written as the authors name.

I think we'd have to see Sophia's actual work before we could actually judge who stole what from where.
