Good morning,

I want to first say that this forum is great and the URL should have been passed out on cards on the way out of the theater for those who saw Revolutions. IF it wasn't for this site I would have not slept last night because of the giant "question mark" that was glowing above my head after the moment in the park at the end of the movie. As a new person I have read tons of theories, ideas and gripes but something someone said in a post, that I can not find, that in the end was something I could hold on to as an absolute truth. The guy, in the mobile suit, defending the dock, .... I would absolutely with out doubt want him defending my dock, port, house, etc. And this is not just because of the hightech weaponry, this guy, as a actor, really gave his all on this movie. Not counting that this dude probably blew out all his vocal cords screaming, I can say, with peace in my mind, that no one else in this movie I could actually connect with that it was a struggle of life and death in Zion. The two man team with the rocket launcher crossing Zion like trained Navy Seals taking out the legs of the huge drill, they were play acting soldier, they were too relaxed. This dude in the mobile suit, in my opinion, showed the horror in his face that this was the fight to end all fights and that duty and courage must override fear of failure.

If I had a vote this guy should get a Oscar.

And to close with my last opinion. Some would might say that it was more special effects that involved him that made him special. I am open to that they might be right for some but, for myself this guy was the "Yoda" of this movie. He died defending the people of Zion, thus giving his "life" for them. He didn't need any special powers or a oracle saying he was "the one" He just needed the same fighting hardware and made his stand with what he had.

Courage.

Thanks for reading and allowing me to plead my opinions.

I agree that commander was one dam fine soldier. He kicked some serious @sses. I would definately fight in the same fox hole with him. His emotion and passion during that scene was very good. He is perfect for that part Thumbup
