[Matrix Reloaded]
Lock: "I'm going to recommend to the Council that you be removed from duty"
Morpheus: "That is, of course, your prerogative, Commander."
Lock: "If it were up to me, Captain, you wouldn't set foot on a ship for the rest of your life."
Morpheus: "Then I am grateful that it is not up to you."

Scarface ending.

Smith standing on the balcony: "You'll never take me alive!"

He is then shot to pieces by a dozen Agents with machine guns...

Smith goes down... tommy gun flailing wildly... still firing... then silent as he finally hits the ground... (all in bullet-time slo-mo... with gorgeous bullet-puff effects and debris floating in the air.)

Or, seriously, All the Smiths turning into Neos... Neo does the "Smith Neck-Creak", turns around, sits down, and tells the Source... "We've got to have a little talk."

Neo bargains for freedom and peace for humans and renegade programs, then leaves... his apparently dead body disappears in a shower of golden code... (the audience stands up and shouts: RIPOFF! BOOOO!...)

Segue into final scene... The Architect talks to the Oracle:

A: "I suppose you think you've won."
O: "Haven't we? You will keep your word, won't you? You will let the others go?"
A: "Naturally. What do you think I am? A human?"
O: grins.
A: "How long do you think this peace can last?"
O: "You better make sure it lasts a DAMN long time... He is watching."

later:

Sathi: "Will we ever see Neo again? Where did he go?"
O: "Look around you, child... now you tell me."

fade into:

Wreck of Niobe's ship... stains of blood on pipes protruding out of flooring... no Trinity.

segue into: wooden spoon... Neo had left it in the wreck of the Nebuchadnezzar... slowly, eerily, it starts twisting, by itself... then disappears.

THE END.

This would have probably made a lot of MiM people REALLY happy.

MATRIX 3 the RAMBOLUTIONS!

zoom to zion battle:> machines arrive at the city only to see that theres noone there... *emps blast along with some explosives that burries the city with rocks and turns it into a robot tomb...
humans have moved somewhere else who cares where...
*meanwhile trinity and neo fly to the machine city...they fly over the clouds and end up hitting into that building with the annoying trinity dying...blah blah (i love u crap)...neo crazy of fury blams the emp in the middle of their city killing the main machine A.I.
humans reprogram the robots to be their servants...

now, u must remember that no matter how retarded this sounds its still better than crap revolutions ending...BLAMO brothers! 3Tooth

In this hall of mirrors, built by liars, we are but a pale reflection of ourselves...

Ok, this is the way I would have done the ending:
After the Oracle and the Archetect are done talking, the Archetect walks in the opposit direction and dissappears into a rippling wake in the atmosphere, as if walking through a dorway.
The Oracle just stands there, nods her head and laughs. Then she says:
"Man and machine, together again. Who would have known...well, maybe I would." she chuckles again, and sits back down on a bench, reading a book called 'The matrix'.
And then it zooms to a statue of neo and trinity in a park, a memorial.
THEN: It zooms to zion, a whole load of dead people being creamated. And it shows all the ships being made, but without the EMP's on them. And a voice of Neo, out of nowhere says:
"Peace and resolution have been made, but how longer will the bond last?"
THE END

Yes, I know, it sucked, but it took me at least 5 min. to type it, at least aknowledge that.

Always the lord of the matrix info. Very Happy Not really, but i do have a website, check it out! Wink

we see the last scene with the oracle, sati, seraph and the sunrise then it goes back to the falling matrix code. then we see a different colored code, maybe red ,and it pans out from the code and we see two what some would call aliens or extraterrestrials playing a type of 'sims' game on a computer device, they look at each other and one says...."this new game is fun...we get to invent all kinds of digital species" and the other one says..."yeah..they even thought it was real".

You know, good point. If it's that easy to penetrate to the heart of the machine city, then why not just EMP it and win the war?

Or Neo tells deus ex machina: "End the war, free the humans, or I trigger the EMP!"

While I did like the way the movie ended, there are some minor details I would have changed:

TRINITY DEFINITELY: Dear God! Let the poor woman die with some dignity! For starters, I would have had Trin and Neo have their heart-to-heart very early on, possibly as a foreshadowing that she'll die. After the crash, she dies quickly, living long enough to kiss Neo. (Shut up; I love sappy moments and sad farewells)

MORIBUND MIFUNE/KIDFRIED: No. The first change would be getting a better actor for the Kid. The second would have been making him less annoying and more... mature, I guess. Less awkward, certainly. And rather than saving the day on his own, he helps an injured Mifune get to the door to let the Mjolnir in. Both of them are covered by Zee, as per original script.

NEODÄMMERUNG/WHY, MR ANDERSON?: More ground battle, less DragonBall Z. The aerial combat should have been part of the climatic second battle, which begins after Neo says, "Because I choose to." They have a short mid-air battle, which would have involved more wires and less CGI of the actors, and ends after Smith screams that it's his world (while still in the air) and smacks Neo down, which enables us to keep the awesome visual of DemonWings!Smith. Neo hits hard, Smith lands before him, and from there we get the "Wait, I've seen this," speech as scripted.

OTHER:

- More Merovingian and Persephone, perhaps showing what happened to them when/if Smith found them.

- Smith vs. Seraph

Kids! Bringing about Armageddon can be dangerous. Do not attempt it in your home.

He rips off his map and he is Peter Graves. And Trinity is Barbara Bane. And Morpheus is Martin Landau.

The music amps up and then the Matrix self-destructs.

I don't think so. Not over Neo. Neo isn't the only one Persephone kissed, you know, and Ghost is the only one who did it right the first time.

Listen to Rob Dougan's "One and the Same"....it's a tear jerker....

This song would have fit the ending perfectly.

Here are some lines from the song, and how they fit the Matrix trilogy in my opinion

"We're one and the same"....Man and the AI are one and the same because they both feel connections, they can both love as proven by the Mobil Ave family, and they both have lives....

"Seems like it's never ending"....'It' (in my mind) is referring to the struggle that pertains to believing in something greater than life itself (impossible), or something that doesn't pertain to logic. It's as if the peace never come, but people keep believing because it gives them hope and a purpose. (in the Matrix this would be the struggle between Man and AI)....

Here's the Matrix Revolutions ending: Neo does nothing. Yes, nothing. So Smith takes over the Matrix and then the Machine City. This erases the entire AI hard drive and causes all the sentinels to crash. Zion is saved. All this happens in the first 10 minutes of the movie. The rest of the movie all the important characters sit around in leather chairs figuring out the Mobil Ave anagram.

I would like to see an ending where Smith is forgiven by Zionists and he becomes their sheriff and other agents become his deputies...

A good ending for me would have been Neo somehow destroying Smith but Neo still being alive (I've come to grips that Neo is dead). And maybe the Oracle not saying they would see Neo again. Only because that has me wanting & waiting for another Matrix movie. I don't mind Trinity dying because I figured she would die after she died in Neo's dream five minutes into Reloaded. And that hug between Niobe and Morpheus hope that leads to something more for thier characters. And also letting us know more about how Sati can and will change both worlds.

For me the third movie absolutely sucked. It had a lot of action (very repetition action I might add same stupid robot killing the same stupid sentinals over and over again), didn't answer any questions, and ZERO story line. Smith was stupid, I felt he should not even be there because in the first one his code was destroyed, therefore his body would have died period! Second Neo gets right up to the brain and he chooses to enter into the Matrix instead of just killing the brain right there and then. There are so many other possibilities I can't believe they bombed this one. So much potential. Hated the depiction of Zion. Made us look like a bunch of grunting cave dwellers with nothing more than basic instinct no wonder the machines took over.

They could have added so much more to the story, I too felt that the oracle should have been reborn, like a little girl. It was stupid that Zion had been destroyed several times before, surely the people going to the same exact place would have realized, or rumors or stories or something especially as the founders of Zion knew about it. There should have been some explanation as to how Neo got the new powers and how he could enter the matrix and be trapped when he wasn't even jacked in. I'm thinking something along the lines that he moved outside the bounds of humanity, (since he was able to see the code with his bare sight) then he had gained the ability to hack into any computer without actually being hooked to it, thus he could destroy sentinals by destroying their inner programs. Also that would show why he could see after he was blinded because he had another sensory perception. I feel the final battle should have been between him and the robot brain. The ultimate human against the ultimate robot. Whoever wins, decides the fate of the world, and if Neo won he could control all machines. It seemed like it was leading up to that anyway. Also if they wanted a major twist at the end, when he destroyed the robot brain, have a human inside, whether it be a human brain, or a living human that had been manipulating the matrix all along. Showing that once again Humans are the controllers of their own destinys and problems alike.

I mean anything would have been better than what they had, ever since watching the third movie I haven't been able to bring myself to watch the first two because it was so disappointing. (and no it isn't because I didn't understand it, its because it freakin sucked!)

Hey icerose do yourself a favor if you haven't seen the first two at all watch them! They're great better than Revolutions. Now I love Revolutions but there are gripes against it. But the first two are works of art and I'm telling you you will be entertained watching the first two.

Hi,
I have watched the first two many times, love them very much. We own both on DVD. The third one however is very very disappointing and that is the one that holds my gripes. I really wish they would re-release the movie as an alternative with a much better and stronger storyline. Something that actually holds a purpose. Smile

As far as I am concerned the ending of the first movie was great. I look at the so-called sequels as another movie in two parts.

even if neo is not dead..how long will he live? this is the 5th neo we are seeing...maybe when the matrix is reloaded, neo will come again...thats the hint oracle gave us.

coming to topic...I would have wanted to see trinity do something and die..she died wastefully..poor direction.

Just like matrix -1 ended..with neo saying that he is no longer afraid of running , similarly zion shd be no longer afraid of machines...
