here we go.... That statement cannot be true... at least in a literal way. We already know that when a persons mind is separated from their body, they die. So, unless she was metaphorically saying that he "fully freed his mind" then that cannot be true.

Stinkz, the concepts that the Oracle was meaning in the conversation with Niobe were: Neo has to "separate" his mind from his body(technically speaking, not literally or metaphorically)in order for him to be able to go to the source, his mind only technically went there. She also said that he now is in a place between the matrix and the real world, he is traped in another matrix, in coma, and she meant that because of the choice he made in the source(chosing the left one) that cause, produced an efect, like everything in life, in this case it caused his body to go into a coma and be traped there, and as she states, the only who can save him is Trinity.

Puke, what I was saying was that, we already know that the body cannot live without the mind... so therefore, Neo cannot be alive in the real world and the matrix simultaneously.

I just rewatched the trailor again and I heard the oracle say that line. However, she says that he is trapped between this world and the machine world... she doesn't say the matrix. I think that since he was heading to the machine world he was trapped somewhere.

you are still basing that thought on the idea that Neo's mind is somehow trapped in a non-matrix, non-realworld place. Though there is a possibility that the Wachowskis could add this into Revolutions, I see no basis for it yet. I think it is more logical that Neo was trapped as he went to the machine world (while in the real world)
