White Pawn, I've never seen a poster with more spelling errors and back-to-back messages. Mr. Mirra, if this is your alternative to crap television, come back when you have something important to say. Otherwise, post your questions in the correct forum.

Another Smith, you kick ass, as always.

Are you for real? Are you trying your hardest to antagonise every person who comes into contact with you?
I loved the 3rd film, you're trying to tell me that I didn't?
I don't have a problem with Revolutions or anyone else on this forum for that matter....JUST YOU..Get down off your high horse man, you're making many enemies here...
Did you get out of the wrong side of bed this morning?

I think that we have all gathered that you hated Revolutions - you've rammed it down our throats all day. You are entitled to your opinions, I'm not denying that, it's your attitude that stinks...
Either that or you love arguing....We're not here to argue we are here to discuss...It's a fine line I know... Cool I think you must be young too from your childish comments..

You crossed the line when you were ramming your kind of theories down the throats of other posters this afternoon...
Don't try to turn this around...This will be the last post I make to you..cause I don't seem to be getting anywhere.... At least I tried...

Mirra, I don't like Revolutions. But I don't spend hours on a pointless thread bitching about it with no concrete argument other than "Ur just a matrix junkie, stop trying to suck wachowskis dick". I'm instead trying to make sense of it and accept it as the conclusion to what I believe to be two of the best movies in science fiction history. I suggest you stop making enemies and start contributing to this site.

Another Smith, you still kick ass.

Well Matrix copied many theories and got many pieces from the most great movies ever, for example one big shois is "The Lawnmover man"... and if you notice the end of this movie is very connected to Matrix, in as we see the supercomputerized villain gets inside the system communication sistem...

In Blade Runner there is a long speak about anomalies... etc...

I think also in the animatri Second Renaissance there is much A. I. from Spielberg too..

But who will never know... I only want answers and I am not still convinced by reading all teh answers I got in the movie...

We will see... who will live will understand!

Hmmm...sorry if i'm putting my nose in someones elses buissness but I just wanted to answere the first question White Pawn brought up.

....i think that the people that come here and talk about how bad Matrix 3 was are just big fans that didn't understand the ending of the trology and thought the ending sucked and no questions answered. and they liked the other 2 movies (or just the 1. one) that they want to fnd soem answeres so they can start liking the Matrix movies as a Trilogy....i know i for one thought the first matrix was best and the other 2 were not so good so I started looking for answeres....and then I found this Forum think and i have to say I am starting to like Matrix 2 and 3 much more...

....So I think everyone should be allowed to talk about the movies wether they liked them....or not. Thumbup

Well since we are into slagging off movies I would like to point out that Blade Runner is the most boring, depressing and pointless movie I have ever seen. The best line was made up by Rutger Hauer (the actor who plays the replicant who lets Ford's character live at the end) himself! It seems that the whole script was so bad that one of the actors could actually write better stuff themselves.

The movie goes on and on for ages with nothing really happening - all part of Ridley Scott's facination with showing scenery and building up atmosephere without actually giving his movies any actual substance.

I must admit that I have a thing against old Ridley Scott. I've always found his films rather vacuous. The only film of his I liked was Alien because (as the sequels show) it had lots of depth to it which could spark the imagination. I'm afraid crap like Gladiator didn't really do that much for me.

Blade Runner didn't have action, didn't have dialogue, didn't have much of a plot and was generally miserable - how much worse could it get?

let me just start by saying i fully support John Mirra in regards to Bladerunner. Yes the the first Matrix was a great film and certianly did take me by surprise considering all the of extremely poor sci-fi flims we have had to endure for quite some time, but i must say that the 2nd matrix film was pathetic!. they should have just left the Matrix where it was!.

The shock value of the first film was already done!. there was nothing in the 2nd film that you hadnt seen in first except ALOT more special effects & some absolutely stupid fight scenes!. the part where Neo is fighting about 20,000 ( over estimate ) agent smiths at once was like watching the coyote from bugs bunny, pull out his acme kit of tricks to try and defeat the roadrunner!.. laughable.. !.

When it comes to Bladerunner, its in a league of its own!. its NOT the Matrix, nor would i ever want it to be!. The premise behind bladerunner is genetic engineering and its implications for the future & also the strain on moral judgement for human life. Someone on this forum called the movie depressing, with no substance & lacking in action?.. Yes its true, its a dark fiim with not a great deal of action ..etc.. but thats what it is!.. thats the kind of film its supposed to be!.. its not meant to paint a pretty picture & just because you dont want to see a sugar coated future where its all rosy , does not mean its a bad film!.

As for substance, its full of substance!.. but you wont know about it if you dont concentrate on whats being said and what it all means for each individual character!.. Bladerunner is an Intelligent movie which poses alot of more "realistic" questions that is more applicable to us today than anything in the Matrix ever will be for quite some time!.

Yes the Matrix was influenced by many films, but more so with books!.. for example, go and get a copy of William Gibsons " Neuromancer " and you'll see what i mean, not to mention countless other books!. i was only surprised by the Matrix, because it was applied so well to fiim, but its not a new idea, actually quite old!.

And oh yeah, White Pawn!. just because you havent heard of Bladerunner, it doesnt mean its bad!.. Its pretty pathetic when i hear someone say things like " OH, IF ITS SO GOOD, WHY HAVENT I HEARD OF IT ? " .. you cant be for real?..

The Matrix was good, but i found Bladerunner to be far better.
