A)As for how Neo was able to be "wirelessly" connected to the matrix...you remember how in the first one, Neo and Smith temporarily merge when Neo blows Smith up? That is how Smith got his ability to replicate himself because he was no longer bound by the matrix when he had a piece of neo encoded in him. So, Neo got new abilites as well from that exchange by accepting Matrix code and somehow downloaded the abilities into his brain.
This is possible cuz remember how the man at the train station was saying stuff like "love is just a word that programs can feel too" I think he is explaining that human mental functions are not far from program code. Even how Smith took over Bane...he downloaded his code into his body. Just in neo's case, they shared new code.
B)I looked up "Sati" and i found that it meant "Truth" in Indian. I was perplexed as to why she was there in the first place. I remembered at the end how the oracle was just lying there and so was Sati on the sidewalk. Smith seemed to absorb their (program) abilities. Also, at the very end, she created a sunrise for Neo. It didnt hit me til I realized that Smith made the matrix into a dark, raining wasteland. He wasnt able to manipulate the environment before...until he replicated Sati. Also, she was referred to as the "Last Exile." My interpretation of this is that a program is created near the end of the previous matrix to "refresh" the new matrix. Remember how the architect said that the matrix was destroyed and created again and again? Sati was the only remaining program from the previouse matrix (besides oracle, arcitect and seraph... but they exist seperate from the matrix) and thus the LAST exile. This Sati program mite have been used to learn from the old matrix and adapt the changes to the new matrix.
C)The architect represents balance and the oracle represents unbalance. Neo has his Smith. Humans and robots. The underlying theme is that all forms have an opposing equal. If so, then who was the merovingian's opposite? Possibly Sati who is truth and growth vs Merovingian who is lies and temptation.
D)I liked how Trinity saw the sun which represented heaven to her while Neo thought the machine city in golden code represented heaven to him. The Bros are making the statement that all religions are just perceptions of the same faith. Views of heaven in our minds fit into personal context. The "blind" neo believed he was in the most beautiful place in the world, but our eyes see a wicked, evil, dark machine city. A heaven in hell and a hell in heaven.
E)Morpheus taking a back seat makes sense because he believes his beliefs have been shattered and therefore unqualify him. He still has faith that neo can accomplish the end of the war...but like all of us, doubts shake up our confidence.
F) The past matrices ended as we were told in reloaded by neo choosing to recreate zion or saving trinity and destroying zion. This is what led to the cycle, or "revolutions" of the matrix around 6 times. Neo was always the constant "anomaly"in all 6. Now, for the first time, Smith becomes the second anomaly which threatens both machine and human world. The cycle is broken and a new world where the machines are more lenient is born (remember at the end when the oracle asks..."what about those who want out" and the arcitect goes "they will be released") because human and machine make peace.
I thought of some other things but it always seems to slip. Thats one thing i kind of appreciate but get discouraged by from the matrix....too much to absorb and piece together.. I mean, come on, I have to watch all 3 movies, watch the animatrix, play the game and maybe read the comics to fully understand all the themes, messages and plot? A casual, unappreciative moviegoer would be too lazy to try and think from a movie. Too many of us are content with being cornfed simple and trite films. Think for once, its not so painful. And if you dont understand right away, be patient. Better yet, converse.
