I never knew the lure to make polls..? What is it?..

I did post in one poll, that had a list of female actors.. and stated that Angelina Jolie was number one.. and commented about her delicious million-dollar lips.. then suddenly all the related forums were onto about her magesty's wonderful mouth.. even when AJ claimed her "lips are all over her face"...

In another poll, I claimed that Miss Hilton is America's only royalty... A week later the American Media that had been labelling Miss Hilton "America's wealthiest slut", was now labelling Miss Hilton "America's only royalty"... Doesn't take much to sway them...

Other than for that, I can't see a function for polls... Please enlighten me about the benefits and excitements of polls...
