I like what you said another smith, even a two thousand pages book couldn't answer what The Matrix answered, the matrix according to me is a pure capitalist system critic.

On my side, Revolutions answered many questions that many people were wondering about, philosophical thinking is needed though. Don't complain about my post it's simply my own way of seeing it.

Smith-Neo Connection: Yin-Yang theory, ugly and nice, minus and plus, one can't live withouth the other. How could Neo be a savior if there would be no one to be saved from? The human race's enemy isn't the machines but the human race itself. Man created machine and all the good vs bad theories. There is no universal law written in the skies defining good-bad
so those 2 things come logically from personnal feelings, thoughts and desires.

MwM: Do you remember Neo saying to Trinity that she'll have to pilot once he get blinded? Neo has a connection to the source which allows him to see everything that's directly connected to the source, this connection allows him to stop sentinels since he's connected. Side question would be why isn't he turning the source off then; good one.

Oracle: I don't have a real idea on this, unanswered according to me. Seems she is the mother but it's not even sure. Please was probably relative to the fact saying she an "oracle".

Who is Neo: There were many speculations about what is neo and well about the mathematical exception it can be seen this way: 1 is a unity, but if u divide it by 3 it's .3333...infinite number with an eternally missing 1 in the equation.

Seraph: I see it this way, man from old cultures or old societies are always different from others. We can do a relation from new matrix and old matrixes.

Smith saying it's the same as before: This one is pretty tough to explain seriously.

What is the meaning of the Matrix trilogy: Man creates his own problem and is the only one able to solve them. People that truly believe in their ideals can achieve things considered impossible from others. The Matrix and Zion makes me think of Capitalist-Free minded lifes. Either you live with the confort and chains of a capitalist life which is a mind jail or you live in the insecurity and truth of a real life out of the system. Capitalism is actually conquering all other cultures and dictating it's laws over the world.

Meaning of life: Smith is right, all we do is to try and make our lives meaning something but it's no use since it's gonna end anyway. The only way to have a meaning is to chose to have one instead of having one. You choose to live or you live.

Oriental cultures: The Wachowski brothers seem to be a lot influenced by those but not only those. Karma on my own view, is a very similar to choices. You can't regret your choices since it happened, all you can do is accept it and make the next ones at your best. Yin-Yang is stated above. I'm not expert of Karma and Buddhism but I've read some interesting views on other forums relative to those.

Merovingian: Unanswered but I believe he and Persephone are simply programs supposed to affect Neo's path. Especially Persephone's kiss which seems to have done something specific.
Persephone: " I envy you, but such a thing is not meant to last." Probably not the exact sentence cause I watched the french version but it meant that.

That's what I'll write for today, let me watch it again and I'll speak again with ya. Chow!

You live each day to it's fullest and to the very best of your ability, life is a journey and a continual search for the answers. I may never find the answers to the questions I'm asking but it's been one hell of a ride trying to discover them!
You have to look for your own answers to the meaning of life - It's a hard slog but well worth the effort... Cool

Man, i agree with like 89.9% of everything you wrote... specially man creates his own problem and is the only able to solve them... but i am having problems believing that capitalism stuff, i know it is king of controlling and ruling and dictating... but i do not think the movies were directed that way.

And Ms. Agent Smith, kudos for you, maybe more and more smart people will see and analyze this master piece as you and many guys here do. It is not enough to try to live your life, instead live. Gumpred

Finaly another person, who thinks like i do. The matrix was a big eye opener to me as well when i saw it. It was like my entire life was there in front of me, (sort of speaking).

The M trilogy has answered alot of questions but in turn has made me seek out more.

I agree. The Martix IS just a movie!

But one that has probably inspired more deep thought and conversation than any other!

I love the may a movie can inspire such deep feelings and thoughts in people all over the world!

I do however think that the brothers "Ripped" a lot of the underlaying theory on "The Matrix" from a Roleplaying game that has been around for years and years!

'The Passion Of Christ' is just a movie too. Movies can have an amazing force over people sometimes. While 'The Passion Of Christ' simply caused a stirring of emotions for Christians, 'The Matrix' has caused a stirring of all sorts of feelings in many different people.

I am saying the matrix had more power over people because it actually had real issues in it and wasn't a slasher thriller. People just hear more about the power of 'the passion' because the people it stirred were all televangelists with their own public relations office.

Yeah, the movies, just like a good book like 'The DaVinci Code,' makes you think and analyze things in life. That's why these movies were off the hook.

Touché. -Bows-

The Matrix is not 'just' a movie.

Granted, it is a film.

Not 'just' a film.

What is real I believe that although the Matrix trilogy is a story, according to my theology teacher The Matrix is meant to define a sense of being. At my school we actually have a Unit in Theology where we study the Matrix and its messeage.

Why Mr. Anderson, why? Why do your do it? Why get up? Why keep fighting?

Special envoy Kofi Annan said Friday he was disappointed by President Bashar al-Assad's response to ideas for ending the bloodshed in Syria, and appealed to the UN to unite in its bid to halt the conflict.

A handout picture released by nike-air-jordan.org... the official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA ) shows Syrian President Bashar al-Assad (right) meeting with UN-Arab League envoy Kofi Annan in Damascus on March 10. Annan said he was disappointed by Assad's response to ideas for ending the bloodshed in Syria, and appealed to the UN to unite in its bid to halt the conflict.

"The stronger and more unified your message nike-air-max-pascher.org..., the better chance we have of shifting the dynamics of the conflict," Annan was quoted as telling the 15-nation UN Security Council.

He also nike-air-max-pascher.net... told the council he was sending a mission to Damascus next week to discuss putting monitors in place even though he has had a "disappointing response" so far to his proposals from Assad, diplomats said.

The United Nations says some 8,000 people have died since opposition protests flared last March, but dissent monitors say the toll is closer to 9,100 lives nike-air-max90.net....

Speaking by video conference from Geneva, Annan briefed a closed-door meeting of the council about his talks with Assad in Damascus last weekend.

The former UN secretary general said his "six point proposals" to Assad remain on the table, but that he had "no illusions" over the scale of his mission as the uprising enters its second year.
Annan's spokesman, Ahmad Fawzi, speaking in Geneva, confirmed the plans for a mission to the Syrian capital air-max-soldes.net....

"Mr Annan has decided to send a mission to Damascus to discuss modalities of a monitoring mechanism and practical steps to implement other issues in Mr Annan's proposals, including an immediate cessation of the violence and the killing," Fawzi said.

On the ground acheternikechaussures.org..., thousands of anti-regime protesters Friday called for foreign military intervention to bring down the Syrian government. And the Syrian Observatory said at least 15 people were killed around the country on Friday.

The Syrian foreign ministry said in Damascus the government has vowed to cooperate with Annan, the special UN and Arab League envoy, while at the same time fighting "terrorism," its term for Syria's anti-regime revolt.
