Hi everyone,

Bit of a biggy for a new poster, but I was reading a guide book to ancient Egypt and came across a passage which I had to tell someone !

Quote:

There is an extremely interesting Late Kingon (ca. 300 B.C.) "magical" papyrus called the Leyden pPapyrus (now n the Leyden Museum in Holland) in the form of an extended incantation designed to negate the power of the Sethian serpent, Apopis. This text unites the principal aspects of the ancient creation myths in a single extended composition. It is particularly important in that its system of numeration identifies the principle or aspect of creation with its matching, underlying, mystical number, a rare direct piece of evidence for the Pythagoreanism infusing Egyption myths and symbols.

Thus the stanzas numbered 3, 30, 300, have to do with the triple nature of The One, the familiar if elusive Trinity of Christiantiy, and those numbered 6, 60, 600, concern the volume, spaec and time. The number 6 is inextricably related, both physically and metaphysically, to these concepts. Apart from the Physical reminder of the six direction (four cardinal points plus up and down) timekeeping and calendrical systems all over the world are based upon six and divisions of six (twelve months, twenty-four hours, sixty minutes, etc.). In the Leyden Papyrus it is the myserious Amon that governs or infuses the created Universe.

Stanza 600 says of Amon:

Sia (Knowledge) is his heart,
Hu (The Word) is his lips,
His Ka is everything that exists bu virtue of his tongue.
His Ba (soul) is Shu, the air, his heart is Tefnut, the fire.
He is Horus of the double horizon who is in the sky.
His right Eye is the day, his left is the night.
He is everybody's guide in all directions
His body is Nun...he gives birth to everything that is and causes all that exists to live.

In Stanza 600, Amon governs the Earth; his power extends to the edges of the Universe; he rulese the land survey, the cubit, the measuring cord, and the foundations of the temples. Tough still elusive and difficult to define or to fix intellectually, the role of Amon gradually impinges itself: he is the hidden cause; indefinable himself, he is the reason why the Universe CAN be defined. He is the creative principle whose particular manifestations are th e time and space dimensions of the physical World.

The Book is called 'The Traveller's key to Anceint Egypt' by John Anthony West (pg. 239 2nd edition).

To get the obvious stuff out of the way:

    Amon, the Architect ?
Pythagoreanism, making use of Pi (the Anomoly)
    6, versions of the Matrix

Can anyone spot any other links ?

Of course. Found another typo "spaec" should be Space". I can't seem to edit my post though.

Found another article relating to Pi and it mentions Logos.

Hochmah is Protogonos in Pythagoreanism, Unified Field in physics, it is shown as the Vajra in Tantra, and is "The Light." It is also referred to as the Logos.

And if you really want to go nuts:

homepage.ntlworld.com...

He suggests that we look instead to the gnosticism of Neo-pythagoreanism and Neo-Platonism as a source for The Logos. He suggests that 'The figure of the Logos in encountered in both groups as an intermediary between God and the world' to explain the relationship between the 'transcendenct divinity' and the 'formation of the world'. He also notes that within these gnostic traditions, the Logos is also the means by which human souls can be saved from the worlds, just as in the Prologue.

The prologue where human souls can be saved, could be the first matrix movie ? And lets not mention the fact it says saved from the worlds MwiaM ?
