I have to say that I enjoyed all three just the same.

Revolutions was AWESOME in my humble opinion. Even if the story was weak, which I personally don't think it was, it was still one hell of a great SCI-FI flick. The special effects where second to none. . George Lucas has his work cut out if he is going to top this with his last star wars movie.

The sound effects were just as intense as the visuals. The machine god thing at the end, WOW WOW WOW, the sound affects for that. Just can't say enough about that.

I will definitely be whipping out my wallet a few more times to see this movie in the theater and yet again when it comes out on DVD.

And to the cast, crew and everyone who made the trilogy possible Bannerthanks for an awesome cinematic experience.

I agree.
I find it hard ranking the three movies because I like them all so much. And the machine god at the End was incredible. This series will become a classic.

Knnknn, since when did you change your mind? I was under the impression that you, like me and many others, were dissatisfied with Revolutions on an overall level.

Visually I liked the movie very much. The Zion battle, the flight to 01, the machine god....

The lack of answers is a very strong minus point.

Remeber all the insect-like "creatures" that scurried away when the Deus Ex Machina showed up? This is 01, the god was talking to the subjects of the machine world. Right?

Exactly.

Who was God talking to when He said, "Let there be light?"

There is a great Isiacc Asimov story where, at the end of the universe, all that is left is this ultra-dimensional supercomputer, and when all the stars have gone out, they are restarted by the computer, when it says,"Let there be light."

And there was light. Heat. Magnetism. And all the energies of the world.

I like the Matrix triology and we all know that you have to watch this movie more than one to say something about it! I was in the 3rd part twice at cinema and I think the movie is the money worth. Thumbup

If a futuristic AI seperates into different self aware programs, which would not have direct access to the computing source, but were only given processor time by the adminiistrator of the operating system, this administrator would be God to the programs.

This makes sence for the matrix universe, but this God should have the power to disable any system except for himself. You would be a pretty stupid God if you didn't equip your own machine/processor with a power supply that would last while you restart the system. It is only the core that needs to be kept running, anything else can be shut down and restarted.

So why doesn't he? Because is doesn't wan't to be lonely. If he shuts everything down, he must start from scratch. But maybe that would be good. He could change "Let there be light" to "Let there be rabbits".

Does this have anything to do with the topic? Yes. I wish to thank you. Yes, you. You're welcome.
