Neo ( the One ) returning to the Source

Just saw the last film last night, and a few things struck me....

The purpose of the One was to return his programming to the source, which although in Reloaded he did not, I think he did once agent smith was destroyed , hence why the matrix could be re-booted....

At the end, you see him ( i took it as this ) leaving his body and entering the system. Becoming part of it, or his mind entering the machine systems as a program exisits in the machine world . . . ( possibly in the same was a Morph tells us in the first film " at the beginning there was a man born inside the matrix, who could reshape the matrix as he saw fit " ), therefore actually becoming part of the system, and possibly returning to the source....

I have a couple of questions thought....

The Oracle said that his powers extend from this world, to the Machine world and all the way back to the source. How, he has not returned to the source at this point?

The second one i have been pondering over is this.

"purpose of the one is to return his programming to the source" . To return implies he originated from the source. Therefore could it be...

The one program was implanted in to Neo, in much the same was as Kung Fu was implanted in his brain while training....

or

Neo actually was a program from the machine world, hence why he had to return to the source for the matrix to be rebooted....

but then, the Architect said he was selected because of his hightened attachment to the "your species", impling he is human....

all very confusing....

Also, how could Neo see the machine with out being plugged in when blind, unless he could be linked to the matrix/machines with out being plugged in.... in which case, why when he returned to the matrix at 01, did the machines plug him in, why did he need to be plugged in if he could now see and touch the source? ( placing his hands up to stop the machines cause he could touch the source )

its just a bit of rambling, hopefully someone can help me understand a bit better....

Also, as a last point, i think they could have made the last few minuets of the film a bit better. the ending seemed tagged on the end. The sunrise over the city, seemed to much like a hollywood ending. im not saying i could have done better, but i expected better....

Everyone has stated Neo has died and that the light he saw at the end of the movie was just crazy visuals! So why than did the Oracle tell that little girl that "we might see him again" she knows all. Hes apparently not dead.

Did Neo definetly return to the source? I'm not saying no but isn't Neo the remainder of a mathematical equation inherent to the Matrix which gives people the subconscious choice of freedom....Now since that subconscious thing is out maybe the machines don't need the "One" to return to the source and balance anything.

Okay here is my main question, what exactly did the Oracle do differently this time around....

Did she help create Agent Smith(I think he called her mom) And predict Trinity would fall in love with the "one" and thereby have the one choose the left door(which the other 5 ones never have) And Neo faced Smith as never before, (since the other 5 who chose the left re-inserted their cores in the source) Therefore since they faced each other for the first time, Neo defeated Smith by "balancining out their equation"

Was that what the Oracle did differently? The Architect re-iterated how large of a risk it was....And even the Oracle agreed that change always is....so what exactly did she change? Why did "one" change from the previous five?

I'm confused but I've pieced together alot already (and I only saw it once)

I was generally content because questions were answered(indirectly if so)
