1. How did neo come back to life at the end of matrix1?

I think Neo wasnt truely dead because he didnt CHOOSE to die, if he had choosen to die then he would have died there (after all he hadnt had any romantic scenes with trinity yet)

In order for Neo to die in the matrix he has to CHOOSE to die.
Thats why Smith couldnt kill him at the end of revolutions, Smith was dealing him blows that really should have ended Neos life, but Neo kept coming back for more. Finaly Smith asked him about it

Smith: You must be able to see it, Mr. Anderson, you must know it by now! You can't win, it's pointless to keep fighting! Why, Mr. Anderson, why, why do you persist?
Neo: Because I choose to.

Its mind over matter, Neo was never going to be beaten if he doesnt want to die and chooses to live, Smith was never going to over come him, the only way Smith won was by Neo choosing to sacrafice himself.

(1) Theology aside, the death of both Neo and Smith are related to the theories on "higher order mathematics".

beer-college.com...
has a quote by Einstein to explain this in English.

(2) The black cat is just to explain to the audience that something in the Matrix has changed and are being reloaded (like in the first movie).

Im spanish, so sorry if my english is not good.

A couple of things:

- The room of the arquitecht is full of screens where we can see the possible choices of Neo every moment, they show the different things the architect or the system itself thinks Neo will do. When Neo chooses the door, ALL THE NEOS IN THE SCREENS CHOOSE THE SAME DOOR!

- I can be wrong, but didn't Morpheus and Trinity, or people of Zion, know the previous ONE? The people the previous one knew should've been destroyed with Zion, and the one couldn't know anybody of the actual Zion.

Answers, pleeeease

I wonder how exactly those screens in the architects room work. I used to believe that all the previouse Ones looked exactly like Neo and the Arc. was showing him the previouse Ones responces to the same questions. -The Architet says this is the 6th version we can see on the screens what I thought were previouse Ones answer something to the likes of ¨are you saying there were 5 before me?¨ ¨4 before me?¨ ¨3 before me?¨ ect...

But since all the Neos on the screen choose the same door and this was the first time the One choose this door, that would mean that the screens are showing us only things about this current One.

If as you say the screens show all Neos possible answers and choices, then my question is:

Why would any of the possibilities be Neo saying ¨there were 4¨ or ¨3¨ before him? He should only have one answer that makes sence with the architects statement about this being the 6th version, ¨are you saying there were 5 before me¨ ?

It seems like sometimes the screen is showing us what the previous Ones said, and other times it is showing us the current Ones most probable answers.

So than if Smith never died in those previous versions of the Matrix....the one never died....

So five ones are still floating around, maybe?

Like Merv...he could be one. "When we first came here he was so different...he was like you." - Persephone in the Matrix Reloaded....

But than maybe, versions of Smith did die....Because he barely remembers the past or the one wouldn't have stopped him in M1....

Or maybe he knows a good deal...."Its happened exactly as it happen before....(1st copy we see of Smith) - Well not exactly." - Matrix Reloaded.

If Smith was around for the previous five versions why didn't he get more powerful as the "One"'s got more powerful? He got the ability to copy himself so he was equal to his other negative side....wasn't he equal to the other negative sides of the other "One's" or is he the opposite of only Neo....not merely the one?

----

Basically I feel M1 was superb....Matrix Reloaded blew my mind but generally Matrix Revolutions was disappointing....Not because of the quality of the movie but the answers just weren't there. Maybe the Wachokis will purposely leave all questions open to interpretation....But I just wish they didn't leave so many....

All in all I liked them all....but Revolutions the least....but thats makes sense Return of the Jedi was the least of the REAL SW Triology too.

The matrix world is a virtual world. When Neo gets shot, the "real" Neo isn't recieving bullets, just his virtual self (He is only getting the information through the connection).
Because Neo is special, he can understand this and this is why what happens in the Matrix doesn't need to happen to him in reality.
(When you get hit in a dream, you don't have blood on yourself when you wake up)

I don't understand why so many of you think the Ones are still around in the Matrix. The Merovingian a former One? The One's code is reinserted into the Matrix thus killing him and rebooting the Matrix. I have seen nothing in any movie that tells me otherwise. Would someone like to prove to me that the One's life does not end when he reaches the Source?

The Matrix has you...
