it seems like everyone is pissed about how alot of the questions everyone had were not answered. well just cause something is not told doesnt mean is not there. You CANT be told what the matrix is... you have to understand it.

I like movies that dont explain everything. Space Odessy and such movies dont explain crap they just show u ans u make of it as u wish. This goes along with the matrix story... ur show the matrix and u get out of it what u wish.

(For now) After seen the 3rd movie I think of the trilogy as a fight between mind and body and the human search for the truth and our meaning.

Come up with ur own conclusion. Movie is an art form. U look at a painting and not all of them make sense or show what they mean.

Dont think about what the Bros. believe the matrix is about make your own conclusion. The world is reflection of what you make of it and so is the matrix.

I think that this movie is a true masterpeice. How many other movies have you seen that portray religion, philosophy, and also have amazing special effects, loads of action and to top it all KUNG FU!

I think the matrix trilogy delivers on so many levels. You have lots of religious references, Zion, Maravingion, etc, and also a story of birth, death, rebirth and sacrifice. All ties into our religious beliefs of gods who sacrifice themselves for us to survive.

The movies also emphasise the human race's need to believe in a more powerful being to save us all, the need for hope, hope of the end of war, hope of a better life, and also a great empahsis on choice.

The oracle, although she could predict the future, she could only go as far as the fork in the road. From there you have to decide what happens.
A great way of explaining that our future is what we make of it....we have to decide which path to choose, i we will get there, and then carry out that decision until the next set of choices....JUST LIKE REAL LIFE.

NEway i could go on for ever explaining why i love these movies so much....there are many things about it that i love.

Personally i belive these movies to be a work of art, a MASTERPEICE, and nobody can tell me otherwise.

I agree with you 100%. there are very few movies that have so much depth as this trilogy has. I could also go on forever trying to explain this movie and I wouldnt be able to explain every aspect of it.

Matrix does what all the great works of art have done... it makes you think and thats why I like this movie so much. Its jsut a shame that movies like this dont come very often. KUDOS to the Bros.
