I wondered throughout the movie why Neo turned down the Oracle's offer of candy this time but every other time the Oracle offered him something,l he accepted it. She only offered him things when she knew he'd accept. For example...
The Oracle: I know you're not sleeping. We'll get to that. Why don't you come and have a sit this time?
Neo: Maybe I'll stand.
The Oracle: Well, suit yourself.
Neo: I felt like sitting.
The Oracle: I know. So. Let's get the obvious stuff out of the way.
After talking with a friend, we decided the only explanation was that it was because Neo was doing totally what he wanted to do now, not was someone else wanted him to do. But even so, the Oracle should have still seen he would not accept the candy so she shouldn't have even offered it.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Excellent observation! I noticed the offer-acceptance/offer-refusal bit too. Neo accepted cookies in M1, then candy in M2.
Maybe, Neo realized that he was different from the other Ones because he had a Choice, not just the illusion of it.
At some point, the Oracle said that no one could see past choices they didn't understand. She also admitted that she couldn't see as far as the end. So maybe Neo was beyond her comprehension now, he had evolved into something she couldn't fully understand. I'm just throwing this out there... I can't recall the full conversation.
On the other hand, maybe he didn't fully trust the Oracle any more. Maybe he didn't feel like she was giving him enough information, or was somehow misleading him, after finding out she was the Mother of the Matrix.
As an aside, there was speculation about the candy being like a red pill in M2... but I think that's a stretch.

Yes, but the movies goal is not to say: He was unique, he was the One, he has a choice. The message I got is rather: Everybody is the One which has the power of choice. Getting aware of this will not always lead to the right decision, but it will let us grow into responsible and powerful people. Neo demonstrated this in this little choice, and the Oracle gave him the chance in doing so.
