»What movie of the matrix trilogy was the best?«

For me, they are all awesome. For the sake of the poll, I said they got progressively worse. However, they ALL still kick the ass of just about avery other sci-fi film out there!

The first Matrix is legendary is classic is the most watchable of the movies all the way through. But Reloaded is everything you want in an action movie, the Burly Brawl is the best fight scene of all time in my opinion. The freeway chase nothing but an adrenaline rush the whole chase. And even the Blade runners scene in the Great Hall was brillant! Revolutions is emotional, when I saw it in the theaters I didn't like it. But when I watched it at home on dvd I thought it was a good movie.

Matrix: Classic
Reloaded: Action-packed
Revolutions: the finale

All 3 films are great, I love them all. But the first one was the best in my opinion, I just cant stop watching it. I actually like Revolutions better than Reloaded, though M2 is equally amazing. Over all: M1 the best, M3 second best, M2 third best.

Hey administrator guy, at least 1 of those results had the word "worst" in it. What if we think none of them were bad. Put something like: "I liked them all equal." Or make an option like: "Good, better, best" Instead of Good, Medium and Worst. Putting Worst in there implies that you think one of the movies was bad, and that everybody thinks one of the movies was bad.

I have to say i am a great fan of these films...

I though the first was so well written and had such potential for sequels to come.

However the huge number of open questions by the 3rd and the film moving towards special effects over story line was such a shame

opening to m1 then the movie is played(nocredits)and then reloaded is played (no credits)and then revolution (with credits) and hell throw the scenes from etm and animatrix that are important in their too. it would be awesomez

I watched all three movies this past week and I believe Reloaded to be the best of the three. I still love M1 but Reloaded just is off the hook. I love the dialogue and the introduction of my new favorite character the Merovingian is great. Not to mention the action sequences. I remember seeing M2 for the first time and after the movie I found my dictionary so I could comprehend all that was said in the Architect's office.

i think the whole trilogy was good... - would anyone say that it would be better without even seeing Revolutions? :O

Ok, I understand enumerating Matrix Trilogy but I couldn't understand the ranking. I think every part is a classic. I don't think that there is a worse matrix film.
