I don't think this theory has been offered up.

Perhaps there is something "Beyond" the real world of Zion, but Zion is not another Matrix. Rather, this Beyond relates to Zion in the same way that, in Christianity, the spiritual dimension (in which angels and demons reside) realtes to Earth.

My theory is that his royal One-ness Neo has somehow made contanct with this Beyond world, and this is how he is able to use his Matrix powers in the real world.

And the architect even said that Neo's consciousness has been altered.

Could this be a picture of Neo in the realm Beyond?

That's my theory. I'll find out tomorrow if I'm right or wrong.
